We’re seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist passionate about school-based practice to make a meaningful impact on a diverse caseload ranging from ages 2 to 15, with a primary focus on elementary-aged students. This opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with up to 37 hours per week available for candidates interested in full-time contract work.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current OT licensure (or eligibility) for practice in the state
- Previous experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other school staff
- Compassion-driven, adaptable, and eager to inspire student achievement
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing students’ functional abilities and needs within the academic environment
- Providing targeted occupational therapy interventions to enhance students’ independence and participation
- Contributing to IEP meetings and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams to develop educational plans
- Maintaining accurate records of progress, evaluations, and service delivery
- Educating staff and families on strategies to support student success
- Managing a caseload that supports children from pre-K to middle grades, with an emphasis on elementary students
