Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with school-aged children from elementary to high school is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfortable adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Committed to maintaining accurate records and progress documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services and interventions to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support students’ IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the ongoing modification of intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding interventions and home strategies
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy as needed
