Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina
- Previous experience working in school-based OT settings is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a positive, flexible approach
- Excellent organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
- Committed to fostering student independence and functional skills in educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop targeted intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement and participation
- Document student progress and maintain clear, thorough records in accordance with school policies
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
