Key Qualifications:
- Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of sensory integration, adaptive equipment, and student-centered interventions
- District- or state-specific qualifications as required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess, evaluate, and document students’ functional abilities
- Develop and implement strategies to support academic achievement and life skills
- Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies across settings
- Maintain thorough and timely records as mandated by district and state guidelines
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families and educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative goal-setting for student success
