Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in Arizona
- IVP fingerprint clearance card (required for all school-based positions)
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy, home health, or healthcare OT settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary support team
- Familiarity with IEPs and tailoring interventions for K-8 aged students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services to a K-8 caseload, adapting approaches to suit each student’s unique needs
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Support teachers, families, and staff with strategies and resources to foster student independence and engagement
- Travel to any designated school sites within the service area as needed
