Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working with early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school students
- Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and the special education process
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
- Ability to multitask and adapt interventions for diverse age groups
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students in Pre-K through Grade 12
- Assess and identify students’ needs related to fine/gross motor skills, daily living skills, and sensory processing
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Collaborate with educators and care teams to support student achievement and participation in school activities
- Document progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
- Provide consultation, resources, and training to staff and families to reinforce therapy goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluation and planning discussions
