Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Demonstrated experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist or strong understanding of pediatric OT principles
- Proficient in assessment, intervention, and documentation within educational settings
- Comfortable traveling between schools across the district as needed
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, partnering effectively with staff, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students, supporting participation and access to educational activities
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs, developing collaborative intervention plans
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Equip staff and parents with strategies to maximize student independence and classroom success
- Adapt to a dynamic, campus-wide caseload as the needs of the district evolve
