ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join a supportive school district near Show Low, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time, onsite role focuses on helping students develop the skills needed for academic success and functional independence. Position Overview:
- Part-time, school-based role (approximately 2 days per week)
- 2026–2027 school year assignment
- On-site position within a collaborative school district
- Open to OT and COTA/OTA candidates
- Caseload discussed during the interview process
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Assist students in improving participation in classroom activities
- Conduct screenings and assessments or assist under OT supervision (COTA/OTA)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with IDEA and Arizona state guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Active Arizona OT license OR COTA/OTA certification
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a part-time school-based role
