Your weekly schedule offers flexibility—select any 4 days from Monday through Friday that best fit your lifestyle, with shifts running either 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. With a 30-hour workweek and all responsibilities onsite, you'll have a manageable caseload, spending equal time in each school and impacting a diverse community of students.
Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
- NJ School Certification for Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience in school settings or with students K-12 is strongly valued
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to varying student needs
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working at more than one location
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
Anticipated responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct occupational therapy services and classroom-based interventions
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring personalized therapy plans
- Conducting assessments, maintaining up-to-date student documentation, and participating in IEP meetings
- Working closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ individual goals
- Managing schedules efficiently between two nearby schools
