School Occupational Therapist - Silt, Colorado
Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist in a part-time capacity. This opportunity, located near Silt, CO, spans from August 17, 2026, through June 3, 2027. Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Colorado license as an Occupational Therapist
- Valid CDE certification
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, tailored to their goals
- Support teachers and staff with strategies to increase student access and independence
- Maintain documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
