Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience or strong interest in providing occupational therapy within a school setting
- Ability to evaluate students and develop creative interventions tailored to their needs
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes is a plus
- Compassion, patience, and a positive, proactive approach
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments and provide occupational therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Design and implement effective intervention plans to address both academic and developmental needs
- Document progress, adapt strategies, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer training or resources to teachers and families, maximizing student participation and success
- Maintain detailed, compliant records as required by the school and state regulations
