What you’ll bring:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (no COTAs at this time).
- Documented experience in school-based OT roles, with clear strength in managing caseloads of 35–40 students.
- Strong background supporting students with autism and behavioral challenges.
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, writing therapy notes, and summarizing progress.
- Reliable transportation and comfort with the daily commute.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and complete fingerprint/background checks.
- Full-time availability—part-time is not an option for this position.
- Professional dependability: on-time arrival/departure is a must.
- Excellent communication skills for updating school contacts and recruiters regarding absences or changes.
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs.
- Collect data, monitor progress, and maintain detailed therapy notes.
- Conduct evaluations and contribute evaluation summaries.
- Review IEPs generated by COTAs as needed.
- Collaborate with educators and support teams to maximize each student’s success and independence.
