Occupational Therapist School Setting in Spring Lake, NC

This contract position offers the opportunity to support students’ growth and independence while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative educational setting. Located in the vibrant Lillington, NC area, you’ll play a crucial role in helping children achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for North Carolina required
- Experience or familiarity with school-based OT practices
- Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff
- Flexibility to manage multiple caseloads as needed
- Ability to document and evaluate progress in accordance with educational guidelines
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess student needs and develop individualized goals tailored to each learner
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student progress
- Maintain detailed, timely records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing OT-related expertise
- Serve as a resource to school staff regarding adaptive equipment and strategies
Contract Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- School-based schedule from August 11, 2026, to May 21, 2027
- Opportunity to address multiple needs across different school sites
