What you’ll need:
- Active North Carolina OT license required
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in school-based OT (strongly preferred)
- Ability to handle multiple caseloads or needs as required
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff and families
- Dedication to fostering student independence and success in the classroom
What your day will look like:
- Delivering OT evaluations, interventions, and treatment plans for students with varying needs
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to promote best outcomes
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in line with school requirements
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to goal development
- Integrating creative therapeutic strategies to engage and motivate students
- Adapting and managing workload across potential multiple sites or caseloads
