You’ll provide evidence-based therapy services to students in K-12 educational settings, collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to deliver individualized interventions. The role spans the entire academic year from August 2026 through May 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the educational framework
- Document progress and maintain mandated records in accordance with local and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in goal setting
