In this part-time position (20 hours/week, schedule flexible), you’ll work across two supportive middle schools, with the potential to add an elementary assignment, ensuring diverse cases for broad professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active VA Occupational Therapy License required
- School-based OT experience highly valued
- Ready to initiate VA Dept. of Social Services background check and TB test
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to 10 students and consultative support to 15 others across HH Poole and Stafford Middle Schools
- Deliver tailored interventions in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct evaluations as required throughout the school year
- Collaborate closely with educators, Lead OT, and program leadership
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and participate in school meetings as needed
