Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Wisconsin (OT – WI license)
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and case management
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with teachers, administrators, students, and families
- Familiarity with state or district guidelines related to OT services (any district or state-mandated certifications or trainings should be completed as required)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct OT services to students as outlined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educational staff and families to implement interventions within the classroom environment
- Maintain timely documentation and progress notes in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help develop strategies to foster student growth
- Adapt therapy plans to meet the varied needs of diverse student caseloads (caseload specifics to be determined)
- Stay informed about best practices within pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
