Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in the Stuart, Florida area. This school-based Occupational Therapist position offers the opportunity to help students build the skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and developmentally.
We welcome applications from experienced pediatric and school-based Occupational Therapists, as well as newer graduates eager to grow their careers in a collaborative educational environment.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
Evaluate students and identify functional, developmental, and educational needs
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans based on student goals
Provide occupational therapy services to support students' academic, social, and developmental success
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals and progress monitoring
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy services and student outcomes
Provide education, resources, and support to parents, caregivers, and school staff
Follow applicable Massachusetts educational and special education requirements
Occupational Therapist Qualifications
Active Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
New graduate Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply
