We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, onsite position supporting students in a school district setting. This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside an established therapy department and make a meaningful impact on student success.
Position Details
- Full-time schedule
- Onsite services only
- Start ASAP through the End of School Year
- Join a district therapy team with:
- 3 Occupational Therapists
- 6 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Each Occupational Therapist supervises 2 COTAs
- Collaborative and supportive special education environment
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of employment
- School-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as required by district staffing structure
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain compliance with district and state documentation requirements
- Supervise assigned COTAs and support implementation of therapy programs
