Work full-time with a dedicated caseload of 50-55 students, spanning both elementary and secondary levels, across one to two district locations. Your expertise will enhance students’ academic and functional skills, supporting their success in and out of the classroom.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Nevada OT License (required)
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across elementary and secondary grades
- Proficiency with assessments, evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort working independently as well as part of a district-wide team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect OT services, including assessments, evaluations, and individualized therapy
- Support students with fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills to enhance their educational participation
- Collaborate in IEP meetings and document progress using the district’s IEP system (training provided)
- Maintain compliance with administrative and district requirements, including timely documentation
- Travel between 1-2 assigned locations within the district as needed (itinerant role)
- Participate in paid team meetings and benefit from dedicated therapy space
