Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sun Valley, NV
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist near Sun Valley, NV. This role offers a dynamic mix of elementary and secondary caseloads, allowing for impactful work with a variety of age groups. In this role, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students across one or two locations within the district during the 25/26 school year. You'll deliver traditional OT services, including therapy sessions, assessments, and participation in evaluations, using a caseload model that values your professional expertise.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a valid Nevada Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload across elementary and secondary levels
- Familiarity with caseload and workload models in school environments
- Strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation
- Dedication to student progress and team collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT interventions based on IEPs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students in need of OT services
- Document progress, attend team meetings, and participate in IEP development
- Travel between assigned school locations as required
- Maintain compliance with district procedures and OT best practices
