In this dynamic role, you'll work with one dedicated elementary school throughout the academic year, collaborating closely with educators and families. Your focus will be on evaluating students' functional physical development and self-regulation skills to foster their growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough student assessments to determine functional abilities and self-regulation needs.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that target specific student objectives.
- Provide expert recommendations to remove environmental barriers, ensuring a fully accessible learning atmosphere.
- Consult with teachers and staff to support appropriate student placement and classroom integration.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Document all assessments, treatments, and recommendations in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy Licensure in New Hampshire.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience providing OT services in a school environment is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027.
