Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Maintain thorough, compliant records of therapy sessions, progress, and assessments
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce skill development in classroom and home settings
