This contract opportunity, located near Sycamore, IL, allows you to work closely with a diverse student population, ranging from early childhood through high school. You’ll provide dynamic, individualized support and collaborate with caring educational teams to foster academic and life skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois OT license (IDFPR required)
- Previous experience working in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and students
- Ability to adapt and tailor interventions to meet the distinct needs of each age group (EC, elementary, middle, and high school)
- Dedication to ongoing professional learning and a student-centered approach
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and direct services for students of all abilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans, goals, and interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by the school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the growth and success of each student
