Virtual Occupational Therapist - NM

This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in both telehealth and school-based settings, located in Carlsbad, NM. The position involves providing therapeutic services to students within an educational environment through both in-person and remote sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals
• Deliver occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms and onsite in the school
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes
• Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with credentials suitable for practice in New Mexico
• Experience providing occupational therapy in school settings
• Competency and comfort delivering services through telehealth
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for remote and in-person delivery
• Understanding of educational laws and therapy guidelines within schools
