Remote Occupational Therapist in CO
An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with expertise in school-based and telehealth services. This contract role is located in Colorado Springs, CO, supporting an itinerant OT caseload across six campuses. The focus will be on delivering a full scope of occupational therapy services, with caseload requirements averaging approximately .48 OT minutes based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services across multiple school campuses, adapting to diverse student needs.
- Implement telehealth OT sessions as part of the service delivery model.
- Manage a caseload effectively, including both direct and indirect services.
- Collaborate with educators and clinical teams to ensure comprehensive care and documentation aligned with IEP goals.
- Support continuous communication during service transitions and staffing discussions.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings.
- Proficiency in telehealth delivery models for occupational therapy.
- Ability to manage itinerant caseloads across multiple locations.

Assignment Details:

- Contract period: August 18, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours, including indirect service time
- Caseload: Approximately .48 OT minutes based on IEPs
- Interview Availability: Monday, July 20 and Tuesday, July 21, 2026
- Teletherapy staffing discussions: July 24, 2026
