An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in telehealth services to support school-aged children. This contract position centers on delivering remote therapeutic interventions designed to enhance students' functional abilities and promote their success within the educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations and assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized telehealth treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary to meet goals.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and regulatory guidelines in the delivery of telehealth services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist with eligibility to practice in California.
- Demonstrated experience providing occupational therapy services via telehealth platforms.
- Strong understanding of pediatric OT techniques and interventions applicable to school settings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams remotely.
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic documentation systems.
