Remote Occupational Therapist in OH

A part-time occupational therapist is needed to provide school-based services for students in grades K-8 through telehealth and onsite sessions. This role involves delivering therapeutic interventions to support students' developmental and functional needs within the school environment.
Location: Lorain, OH 44052
Contract: Part-time, approximately 12 hours per week over 2-3 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide telehealth and in-person therapy sessions focused on improving students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to support students’ educational goals and ensure appropriate accommodations.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and school requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license.
- School certification or eligibility to obtain certification in Ohio.
- Experience working with children in school settings, particularly K-8 age group.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote service delivery.
