Remote Occupational Therapist in NC

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available to provide telehealth and in-person services within a school setting, supporting a K-12 caseload. This 1099 contract position requires expertise in delivering occupational therapy interventions tailored for students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. The role involves collaborating to optimize student functional performance, using telehealth platforms as well as direct contact when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students both via telehealth and onsite sessions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ functional goals in academic and daily living skills
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and progress
• Coordinate with educators and school staff to integrate therapy goals within the educational environment
• Maintain compliance with legal, ethical, and documentation requirements relevant to school-based occupational therapy

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in the state
• Experience working with children in a school setting, serving K-12 populations
• Strong knowledge of telehealth service delivery for occupational therapy
• Ability to manage a full caseload of students and adapt interventions accordingly
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
