Are you an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide virtual therapy services to K–12 students throughout Arizona.
This fully remote position offers the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students' academic performance, independence, and overall development. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized therapy that empowers students to reach their full potential.
What You'll Do
As a Remote Occupational Therapist, you will:
Conduct virtual occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
Provide engaging teletherapy services to students with a variety of developmental and physical needs
Support the development of:
Fine motor skills
Visual-motor integration
Sensory processing and regulation
Self-care and daily living skills
School participation and classroom accessibility
Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Complete evaluation reports, progress notes, and required documentation in a timely manner
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Provide consultation regarding classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and intervention strategies
Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools to deliver high-quality virtual services
What We're Looking For?
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain Arizona licensure
NBCOT certification
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated home office
Preferred Qualifications
Previous school-based occupational therapy experience
Experience providing virtual or teletherapy services
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education compliance
Experience serving K–12 students with a variety of disabilities
Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
