Qualifications & Experience:
- Current OT license required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Flexible and resilient—comfortable with changing assignments and school sites as staffing shifts
- Passion for working with children and young adults with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement occupational therapy intervention for students in accordance with IEP goals and best practices
- Provide direct therapy across assigned schools, adapting services as school site needs shift with staff leaves
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per school and regulatory guidelines
- Consult with teachers, Special Education personnel, and families to promote successful student outcomes
- Participate in assessments, IEP meetings, and professional development as needed
