This is a full-time, district-wide travel position starting as soon as possible, covering an initial 12-week FMLA leave—with a strong likelihood of extension, though only the maternity leave is reflected in the initial contract. What You'll Need:
- Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or Connecticut COTA license/certification (CT DPH License & passed NBCOT Exam)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Comfort working across Pre-K through 12th grade
- Commitment to the full maternity leave duration
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services district-wide
- Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams
- Implement and document individualized treatment plans
- Support diverse student populations
- Maintain records in compliance with state regulations
- COTAs: Work under OT supervision
