Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist, eligible to work in a school setting
- Experience with pediatric caseloads, especially ages 2-15 preferred
- Strong knowledge of school-based OT assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to plan creative, functional activities for a wide range of student abilities
- Compassion for supporting children with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from pre-K through middle school, with a focus on elementary ages
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interventions, progress notes, and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the team’s education planning
- Offer strategies and training for staff and families to reinforce therapy goals in various settings
