This is a maternity leave replacement, beginning January and extending through June 2027. Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience in school-based OT settings, serving students at elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Familiarity with IEP planning and implementation
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Capable of traveling among multiple school sites as required
- Must be onsite; remote work is not available
- Flexible demeanor, willingness to accept feedback, and a highly collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational team members
- Contribute to IEP meetings and keep documentation up to date
- Support educators and families with strategies to improve students’ participation and success in school activities
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, helping adapt the learning environment to meet student needs
