Occupational Therapist School Setting - Union, ME

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Current or eligible Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEPs, goal setting, and progress monitoring

- Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, write thorough reports, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with educators, counselors, and parents to support student accommodations and modifications
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide both direct therapy and consultative support to teachers and staff
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight to create supportive learning environments
