Occupational Therapist School Setting in Vado, NM

Desired Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) and NMPED certification required by start date (NMPED is typically a quick process for proactive applicants)
- Willingness to supervise COTA(s) as needed
- Flexibility to travel between locations to provide services across a broad age range
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students with varying needs throughout the school year
- Supervise and collaborate with COTAs to ensure quality care and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Adapt approaches and materials for a wide range of developmental and educational needs
- Travel to multiple school sites as part of your caseload, working onsite only
