Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Prior experience delivering OT in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong background in 1:1 student support and developing individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and provide direct OT services to students, following their IEPs
- Design and implement individualized strategies and interventions, tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for teachers and staff, offering guidance on accommodations and sensory strategies
- Foster independence in daily school activities, supporting students’ fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and the educational team to share progress and collaborate on student growth
