- Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation procedures
- Passion for assisting students with diverse needs and backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and design effective treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, therapy sessions, and compliance reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
- Educate families and caregivers on techniques to support students at home
