Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current license to practice occupational therapy
- Experience or strong interest in providing OT services within a school setting
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other special education professionals
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to tailor interventions across ages from elementary through high school
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students’ needs
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans to support educational access and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom environment
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate student records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
