Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Pennsylvania
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid understanding of the IEP process and early childhood development
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organizational abilities for maintaining accurate documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy services to children ages 3–5
- Conduct thorough initial and re-evaluations of student skills to determine the need for related services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including participation in MDE/IEP meetings
- Develop, revise, and monitor progress on students’ IEP goals, ensuring interventions align with each child’s needs
- Maintain detailed documentation of services provided and student progress
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding strategies to support motor and adaptive skills
