Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, promoting fine motor, sensory, and functional life skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals and progress
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and eligibility for OT services
- Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and document progress in accordance with school requirements
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support inclusive practices to ensure students of all abilities can thrive in the school environment
