This contract spans from August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Openings include placements at elementary and secondary school levels, with specific assignments based on caseload needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Delaware Occupational Therapist license (must present license and resume to be considered)
- Experience working within a school environment, providing occupational therapy services to diverse student populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Not open to COTAs, as onsite supervision is unavailable at this time
- Must be willing and able to obtain $85 CBC fingerprint clearance (candidates must confirm awareness and agreement before proceeding)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite occupational therapy services to students per IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ functional abilities in the classroom
- Manage a defined caseload, with three specific openings:
- Split between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary
- Mount Pleasant Elementary
- Split between middle and high school sites
- Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to student plans
