Preference will be given to OTRs, but licensed COTAs will also be considered for this rewarding position.
Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license, eligible to practice in the state
- Experience in school-based settings, with familiarity in both healthcare and home health OT especially valued
- OTR preferred; COTAs encouraged to apply based on experience
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and school teams
- Adaptable to a variety of educational environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students identified with varying needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals, document progress, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing strategies and modifications to enhance student participation
- Adapt interventions for a range of age groups from elementary through high school
- Facilitate student independence and support access to the educational environment
