School Occupational Therapist | Wilmington, Delaware

What We’re Seeking:
- Active Occupational Therapy license (please submit with your application)
- Experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings preferred
- Knowledge of educational therapy best practices and relevant documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for team-based support
- Commitment to completing required onboarding steps, including CBC fingerprinting and TB test
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite throughout district schools as assigned
- Assess students’ motor skills, functional abilities, and needs as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans
- Document student progress in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote students’ success
- Participate in required professional development and district training as needed
This is a full-time contract position with a schedule of 35 hours per week (30-minute unpaid lunch). You’ll play an integral role for the remainder of the school year and beyond, with an assignment running through June 2027.
All contracted staff must complete a district onboarding packet, including a fingerprinting process and protective registry check. Please note, candidates are responsible for the $85 CBC fingerprinting fee and ensuring all onboarding steps are completed promptly.
