As the primary OT supporting Pine Log and Cloverleaf Elementary Schools, you’ll provide vital assessments, interventions, and support for young learners, helping them thrive academically and socially. Your expertise and commitment will be instrumental in fostering student success and supporting diverse learning needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Georgia
- Proven experience working as an OT with elementary-aged children, ideally in school-based settings
- Familiarity with K-5 developmental milestones and IEP procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, student-focused approach to therapy and problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group OT services to students aged 5 to 11 based on IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation in compliance with school and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
