Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (Massachusetts)
- Experience in school-based OT roles, preferably K-8 or pediatric populations
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized plans
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
- Document progress, interventions, and outcomes for each student
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP conferences, and parent communication as needed
- Provide consultative support to teaching staff for implementation of recommended strategies in the classroom
- Adapt activities and instructional techniques to meet each student’s unique needs
