Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Current Ohio Occupational Therapy license (OH OT license)
- School-based OT or COTA experience strongly preferred
- Passion for working with children ages kindergarten through 8th grade
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and deliver therapeutic interventions in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted treatment plans for students in need of occupational therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive and inclusive classroom environments
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Promote students’ independence in daily activities and foster motor, cognitive, and adaptive skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning and support teams
