Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Current licensure or eligibility as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work with students ranging from PreK through 12th grade
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of sensory integration, fine and gross motor skill development, and adaptive strategies for academic participation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT interventions tailored for students’ needs across PreK-12th grade
- Complete assessments, develop therapy goals, and contribute to IEP planning and meetings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions
