Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional and developmental needs
- Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans to help students access the curriculum
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize each student’s potential
- Monitor progress and update goals, participating in IEP meetings as needed
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions according to students’ goals
- Maintain clear records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations that can be used within the classroom and at home
