Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Arizona OT License required
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Card required
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in PreK-8th grades, is highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Confidence with IEP documentation, assessment, and the development/implementation of treatment plans
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and establish appropriate goals
- Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies in both classroom and pull-out settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, teaming with teachers and family members
- Offer consultation and training to staff on OT strategies and accommodations
- Monitor and adjust interventions based on student response and progress towards goals
