This travel Occupational Therapy role provides significant exposure to a variety of workplace practices, leadership styles, and patient cases. By working across multiple communities, you'll enhance your clinical expertise, build professional adaptability, and expand your resume—all while exploring some of the most exciting cities in Northern California during your downtime.
Schedule/Hours:
- Options for Guaranteed hours (36 hours/week, based on patient visits, productivity minimum applies)
- Non-Guaranteed hours (variable, full caseload requires flexibility)
- Weekend coverage may be required
- Assigned territory covers areas including Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Fremont, Hayward, and others
What You'll Do:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to adult patients in a home health setting
- Complete assessments, routine visits, recertifications, evaluations, follow-ups, and discharges
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communications with patients, physicians, and the care team
- Adapt to a variety of patient needs and settings, occasionally traveling outside the core service area as needed
- Meet weekly visit expectations to ensure high-quality continuity of care
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- California Occupational Therapist license (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance/registration
- Up-to-date compliance with TB, MMR, Varicella, HepB, Tdap, Flu, Drug screening, and Physical
- Home health experience is a plus, but not required—new graduates are welcome!
